For centuries, fermentation has been a method of making food last longer or changing its properties in order to make it safer, more nourishing and tasty. On our farm you can learn the basics of vegetable fermentation in just one evening and bring home a jar with a ferment, - made by you, of course.

_How we can control fermentation process and avoid mistakes
_Which vegetables are best suited for fermentation and how we combine them in some of the best recipes from around the world.
Group size:
Maximum of 10 course participants + Sonata, course instructor, and an assistant.
Cost:
_CHF 65 per person / for Birsmattehof-Abo holders, CHF 45 per person.
Price includes food, fermentation kit and vegetables for fermentation.
Fermentation Kit:
A fermentation kit consists of a fermentation jar, iodine-free salt, and a measuring spoon.
Payment:
_Course fees can be transferred via Twint or paid in cash on site.
Directions:
_We recommend arriving by bike or public transportation. There is parking around the courtyard, please do not park directly on the courtyard.
